Wyyerd Fiber, a fiber-to-the-premise Internet Services Provider (ISP), has launched service in two anchor communities, Chula Vista and National City. Wyyerd offers a full suite of services for residences, businesses, enterprises, carriers, and non-profit partners including government and education entities. The opening of its new regional headquarters in National City has created jobs for over 100 San Diego residents in fields including construction, customer service, sales and management. Nostromo Energy, Inc., provider of the IceBrick® system, a breakthrough energy storage solution to decarbonize commercial and industrial (C&I) buildings and the power grid, today announced that it has been invited by the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Loan Programs Office (LPO) to submit a Part II application for a loan guarantee under the Title XVII Innovative Clean Energy Loan Guarantee Program.
